Bosch Control Station AWB 9 Wall-Mounted Indoor Module with White Glass Front
Optimize your pre-existing heating system setup and restrict your utility costs by docking an air-to-water heat pump with the Bosch Control Station AWB 9.
This premium, wall-mounted internal module is engineered specifically to manage combined configurations with the outdoor compressor units of the Bosch Compress 7000i AW range, matching the 5, 7, and 9 kW output sizes. This module serves as the ideal choice when you prefer to preserve your current domestic boiler (such as biomass, pellet, oil, or electric configurations) as an auxiliary booster or backup source, while letting a high-efficiency heat pump manage the primary heating baseline.
Fully Equipped Control Cabinet with Mixing Shunt and Charge Pump
The Bosch AWB 9 represents a comprehensive mechanical interface solution delivered factory-assembled inside a compact, acoustic-insulated steel control enclosure. Unlike basic terminal control boxes, this model integrates both a physical system mixing shunt assembly and a modulating low-energy charge pump. The interface utilizes a 230 V on/off auxiliary signal loop to seamlessly actuate and regulate thermal injection from the pre-existing boiler. Built-in logic is also pre-configured to easily handle standalone domestic hot water prioritization via an external diverter valve if required.
Premium Glass Aesthetics and Native App Connectivity
The internal control module distinguishes itself with a clean, contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic featuring a high-quality white glass front panel finish. This allows the enclosure to blend symmetrically into modern utility zones or domestic laundry spaces. The standard package comes delivered completely ready for network integration, shipped with a wired room controller and a factory-fitted internal IP gateway. Registering the control hub to your home network via WiFi allows you to effortlessly monitor operation parameters, program timers, and alter temperature thresholds remotely via a smartphone app.
Compact Wall Footprint Tailored for Tight Utility Closets
Boasting a structural width of 485 mm and a depth profile of 386 mm, the Bosch AWB 9 features a tight footprint making wall-mounting straightforward even adjacent to pre-existing boiler layouts in narrow technical cells. Please note that during the integration phase, the complete installation loop must be supplemented with an external circulation pump for the radiator grid, along with basic safety valving such as a check valve, manifold piping, filling loop, and a trace heating element for the outdoor device.
