Description

Malmbergs RV-K Flex (equivalent to N1XV-K) 3G2.5 mm² is a PEX-insulated and PVC-sheathed power cable adapted for demanding electrical installations. The cable is equipped with stranded copper conductors in Class 5, which provides superior flexibility and a tight bending radius of 5xD. This makes cable routing in narrow installation pipes, shafts, cable ladders and ground beds significantly easier compared to conventional, stiffer installation cables.

Installation and Areas of Application

The cable is approved for a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV and is designed for stable operation in both indoor and outdoor environments:

• Open fixed installation: Suitable for installation directly on a wall, bracket or cable ladder.
• Ground and pipes: Robust outer sheath that resists moisture and mechanical abrasion when laid directly in the ground or protective pipes.
• Cold climate: Flexible handling and installation at temperatures down to -10 °C. (Note: The cable is not intended for use in explosive EX environments).
