Description

Danfoss RA-KE is a reliable and energy-efficient valve housing developed specifically for radiators connected to 1-pipe systems. The valve housing is delivered complete with connection for intermediate pipes and has downward connections to the floor with the standard dimension c/c 40 mm. With Danfoss' proven snap-on attachment (click-on attachment), you can mount compatible thermostat parts quickly, precisely and completely without tools. When replacing radiators or renovating the heating system in properties with single-pipe circuits, Danfoss RA-KE guarantees the correct flow distribution and stable room temperature all year round.

Areas of application

• Type of heating system: Developed exclusively for closed, water-borne 1-pipe systems (radiator circuits where the water is led in series). Not to be used in 2-pipe systems.
• Property types and renovation: Ideal for main replacements, radiator replacements and modernization of apartment buildings, townhouses and villas built during the 1960s–1980s where 1-pipe circuits are common standard solutions.
• Physical location and pipework: Mounted in the lower/side edge of the radiator with the connections directed straight down towards the floor. Adapted for radiators with bottom connection and intermediate pipes.
• Functional requirements: Suitable where precise thermostatic control and operating economy are required without disturbing the flow balance in the common heating circuit.
