Thanks to its robust mechanical construction, this high limit thermostat is ideal for installation in systems where immersion heaters are digitally regulated by external controls, such as a heat pump or an external auxiliary relay. The cut-off function is entirely mechanical and independent of electronics, providing a safe and reliable environment in the boiler room.

Please note: The high limit thermostat features a manual reset function, meaning that the switch block must be physically reset after the tank has cooled down before operation can be resumed.

Powerful switching capacity and smart 3-pole safety
Featuring a heavy-duty switching capacity of 20A at 400V, this safety device easily handles the direct isolation of standard immersion heaters (up to approx. 13 kW) without issues. The thermostat is 3-pole – meaning if critical temperatures are reached, all three phases to the immersion heater are disconnected simultaneously. This guarantees that the entire heating element is completely de-energized immediately and without interruption.

Durable capillary tube design for universal mounting
The safety device is equipped with a standard 6x80 mm probe and a 540 mm long capillary tube, making it easy to install into the tank's existing thermowell or pocket tube. It is rated to cut off at a maximum temperature of 110°C (downward tolerance to -16°C, mechanical trip occurs between 94°C and 110°C). The unit offers a very long mechanical lifespan and is optimized for stable operation year after year.
