Description

LK Heat Exchanger Package -10 is a complete system solution designed to separate an individual underfloor heating circuit from the house's regular heating system. This function is particularly valuable in buildings or spaces that are not fully heated during the colder months of the year, such as garages, conservatories, balconies and sheds. By establishing a separate secondary circuit, it can be filled with antifreeze glycol mixture without disturbing or affecting the fluid in the property's primary heat carrier.

Easy installation and easy adaptation

The unit is delivered as a composite unit developed for direct mounting on the right side of the LK Heating Circuit Manifold RF. The built-in control valve has an adjustable Kv value, which facilitates precise adjustment of the flow in relation to the specific power requirements and surface area of the installation.

Components for complete circuit separation

To ensure stable and reliable operation of the glycol mixed circuit, the unit includes all necessary functions:

  • Heat exchanger: Transfers heat energy efficiently from the primary system to the protected secondary circuit.
  • Circulation pump: Powered by an energy-efficient pump that circulates the glycol fluid through the underfloor heating coils.
  • Pressure and safety system: Equipped with a pressure gauge for monitoring operating pressure, an expansion vessel that absorbs volume changes and a dirt filter that protects the components from particles.
  • Self-acting temperature control: Thermostat with capillary tube-connected contact sensor that ensures a uniform supply temperature.

Possibility of outdoor temperature compensated control

For systems where higher energy efficiency and automatic adaptation are desired, the system can be supplemented with the LK Styr v.3-RA control unit. The option provides outdoor temperature compensated control and includes a control center, valve actuator, outdoor sensor and supply sensor for rapid adaptation to changing weather conditions.
