The calibration tool is intended for calibration and simultaneous chamfering of pipe ends.

Description

The calibration tool is intended for calibration and simultaneous chamfering of pipe ends on PAL Universal pipes but can also be used with advantage for PE-X Universal pipes as they provide a cleaner chamfer surface than pipe cutters and pipe deburrs normally used for copper pipes.

NOTE! The chamfering is necessary to ensure that the O-rings on the couplings' support sleeves are not damaged when the pipe is pushed on! The calibration tools are used with a hand crank or a right-hand drill/screwdriver with a maximum speed of 500 rpm for short periods of time with a maximum of 5 seconds each time, the pipe must not get too hot. The handle on the hand crank can be advantageously dismantled and used as a quick coupling on power tools.
