Description

Metro Therm Focus HD-300 is a Swedish-designed, stainless steel hydrophore of 300 liters. It is specially developed to withstand tough Scandinavian water conditions in everything from agriculture and industries to larger private homes. Thanks to its first-class material selection and smart design, the Focus HD-300 offers a superior life cycle cost (LCC) compared to traditional membrane and hydropress vessels.

When you compare a classic hydrophore with a modern hydropress, the advantages of an open design quickly become clear:

• No rubber bladder that bursts: One of the most common sources of failure in a hydropress is that the rubber membrane wears out and bursts. The Focus HD-300 has no internal rubber bladder at all. This eliminates the need for expensive spare part replacements and minimizes maintenance.
• Maximum hygiene and water quality: Without hidden corners or rubber material, the risk of bacterial growth and unpleasant deposits is minimized. This makes it the obvious choice where clean drinking water is the absolute focus.
• Easy inspection with integrated manhole: The vessel is equipped with a large inspection hatch (manhole) in the bottom part. This makes annual cleaning and service extremely easy to perform.
• Real-time monitoring (Optional): Feel free to supplement your hydrophore with a complete water level indicator with pressure gauge. This gives you full visual control over the air and water levels and simplifies draining and venting.

Built for the tough – Acid-resistant stainless steel (SS2326)

Metro Therm does not compromise on quality. The pressure tank is made of high-alloy, acid-resistant stainless steel (SS2326), which provides exceptionally strong protection against corrosion even in aggressive and chemically challenging waters. To ensure maximum service life, all welds on the Focus HD-300 are chemically pickled. This process restores the steel’s natural corrosion protection in the joints and guarantees a 100% tight and stable construction over time.
