Metro Sånett 55 E (Type 655) is a high-quality 53 liter water heater, specifically designed to meet the smaller hot water needs without compromising on performance. Thanks to its smart, compact dimensions, it is ideal for hidden and easy installation - perfect for placing upright in a cabinet, under the sink or directly on a bench.

Smart design against limescale and corrosion

This model is equipped with a powerful immersion heater that is cleverly placed inside a unique immersion tube. This innovative design reduces contact with the water and effectively minimizes the risk of limescale formation, which significantly extends the life of the heater. The water tank is made of high-quality, enameled pressure vessel steel. This provides uncompromising and extra strong protection against corrosion, making the heater particularly suitable for areas with high chloride content and hard or lime-rich water. For the absolute best lifespan, the chloride content should not exceed 250 mg Cl/l and the pH value should be between 6 and 9. (Note: For water types with a higher pH value than 9, we instead recommend stainless steel water heaters from Metro Therm or Focus, which you can also find in our range).

Flexible electrical connection and complete delivery

Metro Sånett 55 E offers maximum flexibility during installation. With a fixed electrical installation to 3-phase (400V), the water heater delivers its maximum power of 3 kW, which provides a lightning-fast heating time to 50°C in only about 51 minutes. Don't have access to 3-phase? No problem - it can also be connected to a regular wall socket via 1-phase (230V) with the included plug and then provides a stable power of 1 kW. The water heater is delivered completely complete with a factory-fitted fitting kit that includes a safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve, which guarantees a safe, fast and smooth plumbing installation from the very first start.
