With the Metro Therm Focus VLS 160S-RST you can make the most of every square meter in your home or holiday home. Thanks to its robust and compact cylinder shape and low construction height, this water heater is specially designed to be installed horizontally – perfect under the basins in the sauna. The VLS series is therefore popularly known as “sauna heaters”. This specific RST model has its pipe connections strategically placed on the side. This provides maximum flexibility when installing in extremely narrow or low spaces where connection from below is not possible.

Stainless steel – The natural choice for tough water conditions

The inner container is made of high-quality stainless steel, which provides natural and maintenance-free corrosion protection without the need for a sacrificial anode. This makes the Focus VLS 160S-RST the perfect choice for areas with low pH values (acidic water), carbonated water or water with a lower chloride content. The stylish outer shell consists of stainless steel outer sheets and impact-resistant plastic end panels that withstand extra demanding and humid environments.

High capacity and flexible heating

With a volume of approximately 160 liters, the family always has access to plenty of hot water. The capacity is easily enough to fill a bathtub or for 4–6 proper three-minute showers. The powerful electric immersion heater of up to 3 kW (at 400V) guarantees a fast recovery time (approximately 174 minutes to 50°C). The heater also offers a very flexible electrical connection and can be installed as 1-phase, 2-phase or 3-phase. Comes complete with a fitting set for safe and easy installation.
