MMA Differential Pressure Valve EDR15-U
Description
The EDR relief valve is used as a bypass valve. When the available pressure exceeds the set value, the valve opens. When the differential pressure rises, e.g. if one or more of the radiator valves close, the EDR valve opens and lets through a flow which correspondingly reduces the pressure drop across the other valves. This prevents flow noise in the radiator valves. The EDR valve is equipped with a hidden setting under the cover. At each setting on the valve stem (number of turns “n”), a certain amount of water flows through the valve at a certain differential pressure. The valve has a built-in spring for a pressure range of 10-60 kPa, for a pressure range of 0-20 kPa the built-in spring is replaced with the separately supplied spring.
