The NIBE ELK 15 is a highly compact electric boiler engineered to serve as a supplementary heat source or peak-load immersion heater in water-borne residential heating systems. It is primarily used in conjunction with heat pumps to guarantee uninterrupted indoor comfort and hot water delivery during extreme winter periods when additional heating capacity is required.

The unit features a powerful heating element controllable across three individual stages: 5 kW, 10 kW, and 15 kW. This stepped regulation configuration ensures gradual power consumption, preventing heavy electrical grid surges while optimizing energy usage.
