Swarm PIR Sensor LinQ Malmbergs 9972077
Description
Swarm sensors are sensors with wireless communication, which communicate with each other and learn behavior patterns where luminaires, for example, light up in advance when detected. You can also use these sensors by setting the desired channels (15 pcs) and thus make floor 2 light up when detected on floor 1 in a stairwell as a security function. The IR sensor, also called PIR (Passive Infra Red), works through thermal movements, such as body heat from people or animals, when an object breaks several sensor fields, the sensor detects and turns on the lighting.
With the LinQ control system, we expand the possibilities of some of our most popular luminaire series. Upgrade an already installed LinQ luminaire with additional functions, by simply mounting a sensor or emergency light module in just a few seconds. The sensors in LinQ are programmed using DIP switches (no apps required). Future-proof your system in a simple and convenient way.
- Things to consider: The field of the PIR sensors resembles a fan, so movement along the sensor is therefore detected best, while the sensor becomes less sensitive to movement directly towards the sensor (in some cases up to 70% less sensitivity). It is therefore important to consider the placement of the sensor.
- Applications: Outdoors, entrances, stairwells and other areas where movement occurs sideways to the sensor.
