To maintain the heat built up and achieve the best possible results, it is recommended to combine the panel with a pool cover or thermal protection at night, as this prevents the energy from evaporating when the air gets cooler. For optimal control over the water flow, it is also a good idea to connect a bypass kit (article number 1572). With this accessory, you can easily divert the water circulation away from the solar collector on cold days or at night, so that the pool water does not cool down when the sun is not there.
