Description

Fresh F100 Thermo is a market-leading, thermostatically controlled fresh air valve for external wall mounting. The valve provides automatic, energy-efficient and completely draft-free supply air ventilation in villas, holiday homes and apartments with natural draft or mechanical exhaust air ventilation. Thanks to the built-in bimetallic thermostat, the valve regulates the air flow completely automatically according to the outdoor temperature - without the need for an electrical connection or manual adjustment. It minimizes energy losses and eliminates cold drafts during the cold months of the year, while keeping the indoor climate fresh and oxygen-rich.

The advantages of the Fresh F100 Thermo fresh air valve

• Possibility of guaranteed basic flow: Can easily be fitted with a spacer on the thermostat to ensure a constant minimum flow (approximately 2.5 l/s at 10 Pa) even in severe cold.

Installation, placement and adjustment

Optimal placement in the room

Mount the valve high on the outer wall, approximately 10–20 cm below the ceiling. For best indoor comfort and draught-free operation, the valve should preferably be placed directly above a heating element (radiator). The cold outside air is then captured by the element's rising warm air flow (convection flow) and mixed before it reaches the occupied zone. Suitable rooms are bedrooms, living rooms, family rooms and home offices.

Easy hole-making and installation

• Cut a round hole in the outer wall with a diameter of 105 mm.
• Tilt the penetration slightly downwards towards the outside (approx. 5 mm drop) to ensure that condensation and rainwater do not penetrate.
• Adjust and press the modular pipes together according to the wall thickness.
• Screw the inner part, insert the pipes and snap the UV-resistant outer wall grille into place from the outside.

Adjustment and maintenance

• Temperature adjustment: The valve is delivered factory-set for a range between +10 °C and -5 °C. If you want the valve to close at a different temperature, turn the valve cap (1 turn corresponds to approx. 4 °C shift). Turn until you hear a clear click to return to the factory setting.
• Filter cleaning: Rinse the filter 1–2 times a year in lukewarm water with a mild soap solution.
