Choose the right components for the MMA Castle Knob

When you are renovating older sectional radiators or want to give newly installed elements a solid retro feel, the MMA Castle Knob is a first-class choice. To achieve a complete and functional installation, the right combination of valve housing, handwheel and connection parts is needed.

Valve models and connection directions

Depending on how the pipework looks up to the radiator, different valve designs are required:

  • Straight valves (FVR): Used when the heating pipe connects straight in line with the radiator connection.
  • Angle valves (FVV): Suitable when the pipework comes from under the floor or out of the wall and bends into the radiator.
  • Dimensions: The valves are available in standard dimensions (DN10/G10, DN15/G15 and DN20/G20) to fit existing pipe systems.
  • Thread dimensions for knobs: The hand knob Slottsventil SNH is dimensioned with an M28x1.5 thread for direct and stable mounting on MMA's matching valve housing.
