Important factors to check before purchasing

To ensure that the installation fits and holds tightly, it is important to check some basic technical requirements before ordering:

• Dimension and thread: The most common dimensions for radiator valves are DN10 (3/8"), DN15 (1/2") and DN20 (3/4"). Always check existing pipes and threads carefully.
• 1-pipe or 2-pipe radiator system: Distributors and radiator couplings differ depending on the system's structure. In a 1-pipe system, the water passes several elements in series, which requires a distributor with a bypass function.
• Connection type: Make sure you choose the right type of transition, regardless of whether the system is connected via threaded pipes, copper pipes with compression fittings or PEX hose.
• Maintenance and packing boxes: If an older valve drips at the spindle, it is often enough to replace the packing box instead of the entire valve body, which saves both time and money.
