Description

LK Heating Pipe PE-Xa pipe-in-pipe is a reliable main and supply line that connects heat sources with heating circuit distributors in water-borne systems. The product is delivered pre-assembled on a practical 50-meter roll where a 32x2.9 mm service pipe lies protected inside a 42 mm empty pipe. The design makes it possible to replace the inner pipe if necessary without breaking up walls or floor structures.

System protection and performance

The service pipe is made of durable polyethylene (PE-Xa) and is equipped with an integrated oxygen barrier. The barrier prevents oxygen from entering the system water, which minimizes the risk of corrosion damage to pumps, boilers and distributors. The system is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar and can withstand a continuous operating temperature of 70 ºC, with the capacity for short-term temperature peaks of up to 95 ºC.
