Thanks to the efficient immersion heater, the heater has a fast recovery time. It therefore also works excellently as a volume amplifier for an existing heat pump, or as a standalone solution during the summer months if you want to avoid burning fire in your wood or pellet boiler just for the sake of hot water.

The water tank in the Metro Therm Cabinet 110E consists of glass-enamelled steel with indirect heating. The immersion heater is placed in a protective tube, which makes it extremely resistant to limescale deposits and significantly extends its service life. This enamelled model is particularly recommended for households in areas known to be rich in lime and chloride, such as:

Important information about water quality: The enamelled pressure vessel is protected by a replaceable magnesium anode that should be checked every two years. For optimal service life, the chloride content should not exceed 250 mg Cl/l and the pH value should be between 6 and 9.

(Tip: In the case of extremely high/low chloride levels, an electric titanium anode is recommended. In the case of very high pH values, you should instead choose a stainless steel water heater from the Metro Therm range).
