Optimal choice for your own well water and hard water

Do you have your own well or do you live in an area with hard and lime-rich water (e.g. on Gotland, Öland, Österlen, Uppsala or Norrtälje)? Then the Metro Therm Cabinet 160E is the obvious choice.

• Glass-enameled steel: The water tank is made of durable, enamelled pressure vessel steel with indirect heating, which provides maximum protection against corrosion.
• Protected immersion heater: The 3 kW immersion heater is cleverly mounted in a protective tube. This makes it significantly less sensitive to limescale formation and significantly extends its service life.

Peak capacity for heat pump and flexible installation

Isn't the hot water enough when the whole family wants to shower? The Metro Therm Cabinet 160E is an excellent and cost-effective alternative to peaking the capacity of your existing heat pump. The volume of 142 liters is enough to fill an entire bathtub or for 5-6 three-minute showers. The efficient immersion heater also ensures that the heater recovers very quickly.

The heater offers a compact and flexible installation. It can be easily mounted on the wall with the included wall brackets, or placed on the floor with a leg stand (available as an accessory). In extreme cases of time or space constraints, it can also be installed horizontally (lying on its back), which reduces the volume by approximately 25%.

• Complete fitting set included: Supplied with safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve for easy installation.
• Flexible electrical connection: Adapted for fixed electrical installation against 2-phase (400V / 3 kW) for maximum power and fast recovery (heating time to 50° in approximately 148 min). Can also be connected to 1-phase (230V) with a plug, which gives an output of 1 kW.
• Corrosion protection: Equipped with magnesium anode (should be checked every two years). In case of extremely chloride or manganese-containing water, the anode can be replaced with an electric titanium anode.
