Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal 450x550 mm offers a reliable and moisture-proof solution for concealed plumbing installations in wet rooms. The construction is equipped with a 60 mm wide mounting flange that is complemented by a factory-mounted 50 mm foil flange. This construction ensures a tight and type-approved connection to the wall's waterproofing in the wet zone, excluding direct placement in the shower or bath zone.

Adaptation and Flexible Installation

The wet zone hatch is designed to integrate seamlessly with both LK Manifold Cabinet UNI 450 and LK Shunt Cabinet M60n. The installation can be carried out directly against the cabinet structure or anchored to the building regulations. All accessories needed for both installation options are included in the delivery.

To achieve an aesthetic finish, the unit is complemented with a suitable outer frame and hatch from LK's accessory range:

• LK Tileable Design Preseal: Suitable for integration where the surface is to be paved or tiled.
• LK Standard Design Preseal: White-lacquered sheet metal hatch in a stylish shade (RAL 9016) for a classic and discreet wall installation.

The outer frame has a stepless depth adjustment between 3 and 13 mm for precise fit to the finished wall surface.

Guidelines for Installation and Handling

• Waterproofing system: Connection instructions and a list of approved brands for waterproofing are given in the installation instructions. Since there is no test method for connection with plastic mat, the product is not intended for plastic mat surfaces.
• Construction depth and space: The installation requires a free construction depth of at least 65 mm calculated from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the distribution cabinet or the associated LK Shaft Bottom SECURE.
• Distance for double installation: When installing two doors side by side, a distance of at least 150 mm is recommended between the cabinets.
• Placement in a corner: When installing next to a corner, a free distance of at least 100 mm to the edge of the cabinet is recommended. Dimensions for drilling holes can be found in the accompanying instructions.
• Storage: The product should be kept in areas that are frost-free and temperate until installation.
