Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal UNI is an advanced solution designed to ensure the highest possible moisture safety in wet room environments. The hatch is equipped with a pre-assembled 50 mm wide foil flange on a 60 mm stainless steel flange, which creates a reliable and tight connection to the wall's waterproofing. The product is approved for installation within wet zones, with the exception of direct placement in a bath or shower area.

Versatile Use and Installation

This wet zone hatch is designed to fit perfectly with several of LK Systems wall cabinets:

  • Distributor cabinet: GV 550
  • Water meter cabinet: UNI 8/6 and UNI 8/6 CS
  • Shunt cabinet: M60n XL

Installation can be done directly against the cabinet or anchored to the building frame, and accessories for both methods are included. The outer frame can be adjusted continuously between 3 and 13 mm to provide a perfect fit to the wall's final surface layer.

Important information about surface layer: The hatch is intended for foil waterproofing. Since there is no testing method for plastic mat, the product is not suitable for plastic mat as a surface layer. Information about approved waterproofing products and installation can be found in the accompanying documentation.

Aesthetic Customization

To complete the installation, the wet zone hatch is combined with an optional exterior hatch based on the desired design:

  • LK Tileable Design Preseal: For installing tiles or clinker, which provides a discreet and integrated surface.
  • LK Standard Design Preseal: White-painted steel sheet in the shade RAL 9016 for a clean and classic finish.

  • Requirements for construction depth: At least 65 mm free depth from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the cabinet or installation (for example LK Shaft Bottom SECURE)
  • Installation distance: At least 150 mm between cabinets in case of double installation, and at least 100 mm to the opposing wall in case of corner placement
  • Storage: Store in a frost-free and temperate space
