Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal UNI offers a safe and proven solution for tight installations in areas covered by wet room regulations. The product is equipped with a factory-mounted foil flange that forms a waterproof transition to the wall's sealing layer. The hatch is approved for placement in wet zones, provided that it is not installed directly next to a bath or shower, and contributes to effective protection against moisture damage in built-in cabinets.

The frame is equipped with a 60 mm wide flange and a 50 mm waterproofing foil for optimal connection. The wall-mounted frame can be flexibly adjusted in depth from 3 up to 13 mm to provide a smooth and precise adaptation to the finished surface of the wall.

Compatibility and areas of use

The door is delivered complete with mounting accessories for installation either directly in the building frame or against the cabinet frame. It is designed to fit the following units:

• LK Manifold Cabinet GV 800
• LK Shunt Cabinet VS2 800
• LK Manifold Cabinet VVX
• LK Water Meter Cabinet UNI XL

Please note that the design is intended for foil-based waterproofing systems. There is currently no approved test method for connection to plastic mat, which means that the product is not suitable for plastic mat as a surface layer.

Important dimensions and installation instructions

• Building depth: A free depth of at least 65 mm is required, measured from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the distribution cabinet or installation (for example LK Shaft Bottom SECURE).
• Parallel installation: When placing two doors next to each other, a distance of at least 150 mm is recommended between the cabinets.
• Corner installation: When installing near a wall corner, a minimum distance of 100 mm is recommended to the cabinet edge.

Optional exterior doors

For a complete and aesthetic end result, combine the wet zone door with a suitable exterior design door:

• LK Tileable Design Preseal: Provides a discreet finish where tiles or clinker are attached directly to the surface.
• LK Standard Design Preseal: A classic white-lacquered sheet metal door for a clean and stylish surface.
