LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal 800x710mm

Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal has a 60mm wide flange on which the prefabricated 50mm wide foil flange is mounted, it is tested and approved for use in wet zones, but not in places for baths and showers.

A current list of system-approved brands of waterproofing membranes and installation instructions for connecting waterproofing membranes to LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal for each brand can be found in the installation instructions. There is no test method for connecting foil flanges to plastic mats, so there are no adapted products for this on the market. LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal is not suitable for installation with plastic mats as a surface layer.

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal requires a free construction depth of at least 65mm calculated from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the LK Manifold Cabinet or other installation, e.g. LK Shaft Bottom Secure. If two wet zone hatches are to be mounted next to each other, LK recommends that there is at least 150mm between the cabinets. When the wet zone hatch is to be mounted near a corner, a distance of at least 100mm to the cabinet is recommended. A table with dimensions for drilling holes is provided in the installation instructions.

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal can be mounted against a manifold cabinet or in the building frame. Accessories for both installation methods are included. The outer frame can be adjusted between 3-13mm so that the frame is flush with the wall surface. LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal should be supplemented with LK Tileable Design Preseal, which is a hatch that can be tiled or LK Standard Design Preseal, which is a white-painted sheet metal hatch. Parts fixed to the wall are made of stainless steel, other parts are made of galvanized steel sheet, white color RAL9016. The product should be stored in a temperate and frost-free environment.
